Trees to Lumber and Timbers

The Colorado Timberking procures our logs from a variety of sources including, the U.S. Forestry Service, private land owners, as well as other logging companies. We have a portable Timberking 2000 sawmill which enables us to mill the logs in the forest or process them at our facility in Peyton, Colorado.

A forest management program was implemented by the fantastic men and women of the US forest Service to help reduce the likelihood of total forest destruction in the event of a fire. The forest did in fact survive a fire in 2017 thanks to selected thinning. This forest near Fairplay, CO will continue to grow, thrive and provide excellent habitat for numerous wildlife species such as Elk and Fox while providing an natural environment for outdoor enthusiast.
